I cannot stop to think of the image of the girl that was napalmed during the Vietnam War
[link] , that is also one of those things, when I find out about the U.S. still using napalm at the beginning of this war, and white phosophorus bombs, that it makes me more and more angry as a soldier that we didn't learn the consequences of these weapons and the collatoral damage they caused to both soldiers & civilians. Whether claiming the justification for such double-standards on weapons that have been internationally banned, is that we needed it tactically as a smoke-screen during the Shock & Awe operations at the beginning of the Iraq War. |
